How to Earn XP1

These badges are part of the great postbox hunt! They are earned when you are the first piXPost user to pin an eligible postbox on the map.

XP1 = First Explorer bonus for being the first to put that postbox on the map

Pins must be published on the public piXPost map. Pins that do not qualify for the public map, or pins marked private, will still appear on your profile and personal map but will not count towards these badges.

To Claim XP1:

🔹 Your pin must be the first pin at that location

🔹 Once your pin is loaded onto the active page your XP1 pin will be a Dark Red color on the map.

🔹 Pins added after the an XP1 at the same location are still welcome, encouraged, and count. They may also count towards other badges.

(pins that are created at that location after the first “XP1” pin will be shown as a light red color on the map)

🔹 Your pin type must be selected as a postbox or multi-selected with a postbox pin type included.

🔹 XP1 can only be claimed once per an eligible postbox location.  

🔹 Genuine historical, retired or museum postboxes may qualify for XP1.
