How to Earn Event  Badges

These badges represent the attendance of all postal related events, a photo from stamp shows to postcrossing meet ups to First day of issue ceremonies and more. 

To earn these badges your pins must be published on the public piXPost map. Pins that don’t qualify or are private will still appear on your profile and personal map. 

To Claim Event badges:

🔹 Your pin should show postal community moments in action: new stamp being revealed, a group of friends writing out postcards… 

🔹 Your title or caption should clearly explain the event, especially if it is not obvious from the photo.

🔹 For in-person events, your photo should be taken at the real-world event location.

🔹 For virtual StampEX, screenshots or photos from the online event may count if they clearly show your participation in the event.

• Please note in your title or caption that it was a virtual event.

• If you join a virtual event from home, do not pin your private home address. You may pin the Business Design Centre in London.

🔹 We would like to see photos and even a video if possible of what goes on at this event, this makes it more fun for everyone to enjoy.

Tip: take a photo of the table of postcards being written out by friends and include a second picture of you or a group photo of everyone mailing them. 

Tip: take a photo from the front door of the stamp show floor looking out onto all the show stands, or include a video of the current being removed to reveal a new stamp at a ceremony or even a selfie of you standing next to the new stamp on stage.
