Find Stamps in the Wild with Stamp Quest
A collectible exploration game inside the piXPost map where you discover virtual stamps hidden at real-world postal locations. As you explore the piXPost map, you can claim the stamps you find, build your album, and earn badges by completing special stamp sets. New stamps and locations are added regularly, so there’s always something new to discover.
From the map to your album
Stamp Quest is easy once you know what the map symbols mean. Here’s the whole journey, one step at a time.
Look for gold stamps on the map
Zoom in to street level and look for postbox pins with a gold stamp attached. The gold stamp means that the XP1 currently has stamps available for you to claim.
What is an XP1? If you identify a postbox that hasn’t yet been discovered in piXPost, we call it an XP1 — short for Explorer 1.
Only XP1 postboxes participate in Stamp Quest.
If you already have the stamps currently available at an XP1, the gold stamp won’t appear.
An XP1 postbox without stamps?
Newly added XP1 postboxes don’t receive stamps immediately.
It will be dark red in color but not have a gold stamp attached to it on the map.
When taping on the pin details you’ll see an envelope and hourglass where the stamps normally appear.
The hourglass and envelope icon is a little note to say that stamps are being sorted for this location.
Stamps will join the Stamp Quest rotation at this XP1 postbox 3 days after the pin was created.
Watch the Stamp Rotation Countdown
This countdown is located on the top left of the piXPost map and countdown to the next stamp rotation so you always know when new stamps will arrive.
Rotating availability: Stamps at XP1 postboxes rotate every 3 days, so a familiar location may have something completely different the next time you visit. Look for the gold stamp countdown in the top-left corner of the map to see when the next rotation is coming.
Global coverage: Stamp Quest includes stamps from across the globe. You may see more stamps from countries in your own region, but you’ll also have opportunities to discover stamps from other parts of the world and build a truly international album.
Expanding collection: We’re continually adding to the pool of available stamps, ensuring that Stamp Quest grows over time with more countries, designs, and levels of rarity.
Some stamps will be common and easy to find… others will become legends.
Go to the postbox
Stamp Quest happens out in the real world, so you’ll need to visit the XP1 location before you can collect its stamps.
When a XP1 with stamps available is near you, its pin will pulse on the map.
Once you’re close enough to collect, the pin lights up green.
Open it and collect your stamp
Tap the XP1 postbox to see the stamps available there.
When you’re in range, tap a stamp than tap Collect Stamp.
That’s it — your new stamp is added straight to your Stamp Quest album.

Envelope + Hourglass
This is a newly discovered XP1 postbox and requires 3 days before it’s first stamp delivery.
Your Stamp Album
Every collector receives an album with four 30-slot pages, and you can rename any of the pages inside your album to organize your collection however you like.
You also have the option to add more pages by clicking the plus symbol (+) at the end of the row of pages
Stamp Placement
When you claim a stamp, piXPost automatically finds the next available open slot across your pages.
You can move stamps on your page into other open spots.
By taping on a stamp you can view its stamp details (Country, Rarity, Issued year and more)
You can move stamps between album pages or remove a stamp from your collection by tapping on the stamp and scrolling at the bottom of the details page.
Collecting Stamp Sets Could Unlock Badges 🏆
As you build your Stamp Quest album, you’ll discover stamps that belong to special sets.
If you complete these special sets, you’ll unlock a badge to celebrate it.
Once you earn a badge, it’s yours to keep, even if you later remove some of those stamps from your album.
