Counts for Postbox badges:

🔹 Your pin must include a clear photo of a real postbox with an outgoing mail slot in a real-world location with public access.

🔹 The postbox must be part of an official national postal network.

🔹 The more photos of it with its surroundings or adding a short video of your postbox the more fun for everyone to enjoy.

🔹 Genuine historical, retired, preserved, or museum postboxes may count if they were formerly part of an official national postal network and remain publicly accessible. (Please note this in your title or caption)

🔹 The photo must be taken outside your home.

🔹 Cluster boxes and parcel lockers may count only if they clearly include an outgoing mail slot accepted through the official national postal network and are accessible to the public.

🔹 Pinning a postbox that has already been pinned is allowed, and is encouraged!

🤩 We love seeing how popular a spot can be, how it changes over time, or what it looks like in a different season.

🔹 If you are the first person to pin an eligible postbox location on the map, congrats! Your pin may also qualify for XP1.

❌ Private residential mailboxes and P.O. Boxes do not count

❌ Decorative replicas or novelty mailboxes do not count

❌ Private courier boxes, private postal operator boxes

❌ Relay boxes do not count because they are only used by mail carriers and the public cannot post mail into them.

❌ Private buildings, apartments buildings, or businesses with outgoing postboxes areas inside do not count for the public map, XP1 badges or Postbox badges if they are not accessible to the public.

✨Tip: Make your postbox pin extra fun try taking the photo from a different angle, capturing it in a different season, add a decoration, or jumping in for a selfie with the postbox.

Postal systems may vary around the world, and some locations do not fit neatly into a single category.

If a mailbox, locker or postal station is part of the official national postal service in that country and accepts public outgoing mail through that network, it may count.
