A New Adventure Inside piXPost
Stamp Quest is a collectible exploration game inside piXPost where you discover virtual stamps hidden at real-world postal locations. As you explore, you can collect stamps, build your album, and showcase your favorites on your profile. New stamps and new locations are added regularly, so there’s always something new to hunt for.
Green Pins vs. Purple Pins —
What Do They Mean?
Green Pins — XP1 Postboxes (Stamp Site Locations)
Green pins represent Stamp Sites, several have been pulled directly from the piXPost XP1 postbox dataset.
These are real postboxes around the world that have been brought into the Stamp Quest universe as active locations where stamps can be found.
Each XP1 postbox site offers stamps you can claim if you're close enough.
Stamps at these locations change regularly, so a familiar postbox might surprise you with new stamps the next time you visit.
Keep an eye on postboxes near you — their available stamps won’t stay the same for long!
Purple Pins — Points of Interest
Purple pins highlight special Points of Interest, such as:
famous landmarks
postal museums
philatelic libraries
historically significant postal locations
unique landmarks connected to stamp history
These sites often feature special stamp selections, including:
stamps from external or distant regions
rare varieties
limited-run themes or special releases
Purple pins are meant to feel like “premium” stamp experiences — places where the offerings are different, interesting, and worth the extra trip.
The Stamps —
Regional, Rotating, and Growing Constantly
Stamp Quest features curated stamps from around the world. Here’s how it works:
Global coverage: Stamps come from all major world regions, giving collectors a truly international album. While your region may have stamps from specific countries such as your own, you still have opportunities to obtain stamps from other regions.
Rotating availability: Instead of staying fixed, stamps rotate between active sites. A postbox that had one stamp last week might have completely different options today.
Expanding collection: We’re continually adding to the pool of available stamps, ensuring that Stamp Quest grows over time with more countries, designs, and levels of rarity.
Some stamps will be common and easy to find… others will become legends.
Your Stamp Album —
Three Pages, Fully Customizable
Every collector receives an album with three 30-slot pages, and you can rename any of them to organize your collection however you like.
Page 1 — Your Public Display Page
This is the only page visible to visitors on your piXPost profile.
Most collectors use it to showcase their favorite or rarest stamps.
You can rename the page to fit your style — e.g., “Showcase,” “My Favorites,” or “Top Finds.”
Pages 2 & 3 — Collect & Curate
These pages are private to you.
Perfect for organizing by region, theme, rarity level, or your own creative categories.
Rename them to anything you like — “Europe Hunt,” “Rarities,” “Page of Purples,” etc.
Stamp Placement
When you claim a stamp, piXPost automatically finds the next available open slot across your pages — but you can always rearrange stamps afterward for perfect organization.
